Sudan rejoins International Cotton Advisory Committee

The Washington-based International Cotton Advisory Committee(ICAC) has announced rejoining of Sudan, represented in the Sudan Cotton Company, to the organization,  a move that  signal Sudan’s return to the international cotton markets and bodies concerned with the crop.

Thus, Sudan has become ICAC’s 29th member and 12th member in Africa.

The Sudan Cotton Company affirmed in a press statement it issued today that it has renewed its membership in the ICAC, pointing out that Sudan was one of the original countries that joined the ICAC when it was first formed back in 1939.
