Civil Aviation Authority Denies shut down of Khartoum Airport

The Civil Aviation Authority has denied news reports by a travel agent that Khartoum Airport will be closed down as of December.1.

The Director of the Air Cargo Department, Ibrahim Ahmed has stressed that the authority will take the necessary legal procedures against the agency for circulating the false news to the public besides, the administrative measures concerning the license.

The Civil Aviation Authority official the Badr and Tarco airlies companies have delegated this travel agent  to publish the announcement, adding that the decision of shut down the airport or not is from the authorities of  the state represented in the Higher Committee for Health Emergencies  which is implemented by the Civil Aviation Authority or Khartoum International Airport as it considered one of the state’s  vital utilities.
