The Sudanese Businessmen and Employers Federation has affirmed readiness to enter into investment partnerships with the Saudi private sector to exploit investment opportunities in various fields that can absorb the largest volume of investments to achieve the interests of both countries.

Head of the Sudanese Businessmen and Employers Federation Eng. Hashim Salah Hassan Matar praised in his address to the Sudanese-Saudi Investment Forum at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum today, in the presence of the Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting Sudan politically and economically.

Matar pointed out that the forum comes at a stage when the Sudan is witnessing transformations at the level of the international community, following the efforts of the transitional government, which contributed to reintegration of Sudan into the global economy and the subsequent steps for economic reform, especially in the axes of legislations to create a conducive business environment.

He called on Saudi investors to enter into investment partnerships in priority areas, especially in the fields of infrastructure, energy, agriculture and mining, based on the deep-rooted relations linking the two countries.
